Starting point:
From Falzarego- Pass in the direction Cortina shortly before Pocol at the right to Passo Giau (well signed).

Ascent:
Directly next to the Hotel Ristoranre Alpino Passo Giau begins the way number 452 that you follow until first crossing. There we continue right on way number 443. After half an hour we reach a crossing. There you turn left on way number 438 steep uphill.

Descent:
From Rifugio Nuvolau we go over the normal way (number 438) to Nuvolau-Scharte (Rifugio Averau, 2413m) and then we follow way number 452 below the south-west walls of Nuvolau to Passo Giau.
