Via ferratas in Sesto - Climbing in the Dolomites

That Alpine feeling

A firm grip, take a safe step, feel the rock.

Climbers find the ultimate thrill on the fixed rope routes in the Dolomites. If you have a head for heights and good mountain experience, Sesto is just the place for you. Those who want to experience the fascination of wild rock faces and ridges can tackle one of the many via ferratas in the Sesto Dolomites and surroundings. Skills and concentration are also required in the climbing gardens and climbing halls in Sesto around the Alpenblick.

For climbing via ferratas we recommend a climbing set, good hiking boots, a safety helmet, rain protection, rucksack with provisions and the necessary map material. The absolute highlight: a day with your private mountain guide of the Alpine School Sesto.

The massive wood and glass construction Dolomit Arena has a wall of 18.5 m height and a slightly shorter wall of 12 m. The arena is glazed on both sides, which gives you that outdoor feeling. With its different wall inclinations – from vertical to an overhang of approx. 8 m – the Dolomit Arena meets the highest expectations. Beginners can gain experience in the top rope area – the very young climbers can try their hand at climbing in the large and completely safe boulder cave.
