Climbing in the Dolomites

Climbing on via ferrata has developed into a trend sport. Those who want to experience the fascination of wild rock faces and ridges can tackle one of the many Via Ferrate in the Sesto Dolomites and surroundings. A Via Ferrata is equipped with steel cables, rope ladders and other fixed anchors such as stairs and wooden footbridges.

  • For climbing via ferrata we recommend a climbing set, good hiking boots, a safety helmet, rain protection, rucksack with provisions and the necessary map material. Prerequisites are a head for heights, sure-footedness and good mountain experience.
  • Is it your first via ferrata? Then you should experience it together with one of our local guides!
  • The following selection of via ferrata is an "extract" from the wide range of possibilities offered in the Sesto Dolomites and surroundings.

Our partners for renting and buying equipment and recommended clothing: Sport Point and Sportmode Kiniger. As Alpenblick guests you get a voucher of 10%!
