Ski tours & winter hiking in the Dolomites of Sesto

More winter

Experience the beauty of winter in peace and quiet far away from the hustle and bustle of the ski slopes. Hear the snow crunch, listen to the wind in the treetops, follow the tracks. For those who want to really feel nature and get to know a new side of winter, the area of the Tre Cime Dolomites offers many possibilities: wander through the immaculate white on snowshoes away from the famous routes, roam through nature in a horse-drawn sleigh, say hello to Rudolph.

Plan and enjoy your winter adventure in the Alpenblick - we will be happy to help you and give you some insider tips.

Sledging in the Sesto mountains

Sledging in the Sesto mountains

Whether alone or in a group: a sled ride is always great fun - especially when there are so many attractive routes to choose from. The Croda Rossa and Monte Baranci mountain railways take you to two artificial sled runs. Even after winter hikes, such as to the Malga Nemes or to the Val Campo di Dentro, the sled brings you back down to the valley in comfort. (Attention: helmets are compulsory on the toboggan runs)

Torch-lit hike

Torch-lit hike

In the evening it gets romantic in the Val Fiscalina and Val Campo di Dentro. A quaint torch-lit hike with a stop at a mountain hut and a cup of mulled wine are a perfect match for the snow-covered winter landscape. Experience the wonderful surroundings at night with us on our weekly guided torch-lit hike. (Registration at the reception)

Reindeer herd on the Croda Rossa

Did you know that the Croda Rossa is home to the only reindeer herd in Italy? Rudolph and his friends have been living in the Sesto Dolomites for several years now and feel really at home there. Twice a week you can even watch the animals being fed. A real highlight!

E-Fatbike

E-Fatbike

Bike fun is always guaranteed at the Alpenblick – even during the winter months. When the snow makes the forest roads, which are frequently used in summer, impassable with a normal bike, we use the fat bikes with their thick wheels, which are particularly good on loose ground. The cool modern bikes are available to rent and, if desired, you can go on a guided tour with host Markus.

Horse-drawn sleigh ride

On a horse-drawn sleigh through fantastic winter landscapes: to the snow-covered Val Fiscalina – it can be both a romantic experience for two or an adventure for the whole family. Wrapped in cuddly blankets, feel the fresh winter air on your face as you glide through the snow-covered landscape and listen to the crunch of the snow under the hooves and runners ... A very special winter day awaits.
