Snowshoe Hiking

Hiking Fun in the Winter, too!

More than 150 km of winter hiking trails invite you, too, to discover the fascinating winter wonderland of the Dolomites.

Experience a Pristine Natural Environment
Snowshoe hiking, far from the hustle and bustle of the big city, in the midst of a lonely winter wonderland. You might want to explore, e.g., the pristine natural landscape of the Kreuzberg Pass before stopping in at the huts on the Coltrondo, Nemes, and Klammbach Meadows, or undertake a wonderful snowshoe hike from the Fischlein Valley to the Rotwand Meadow Hut and the Rudi Hut.

Snowshoe hiking in the Sextner Dolomites
Get to know this new winter activity and breathe-in the pure mountain air.
Our advice is to use good and appropriate hiking shoes and clothes, a light backpack, packed lunch and maps (available at the reception desk). In areas with danger of avalanches and if you go hiking without an alpine guide it is recommended to use the arva equipment (avalanche transceivers), which you can find in all sport shops. It is also advisable to leave a message at the hotel reception with the indication of your route.

Weekly 3 guided snowshoe tours for free with an Alpine guide of the hiking school Drei Zinnen of Sexten. Free rental of the equipment included.
